Protest Marshall Workshop-
Last week we hosted a medic training there, and it was a SMASHING success. Since that training, within our chapter we have been talking about how we can better support organizers in Jefferson Parish, and how we can participate in ongoing actions without overstepping our boundaries. Together, we need to come up with a mutual understanding of organizing tactics, ways of communication, and agreement of different roles. Things we will discuss: 1) privacy & communication; 2) marshal roles/perimeter control; 3) de-escalation; 4) street medic overview; 5) group expectations.
