Care Over Cops- Our Neighbors, Our Justice-

***Register in advance for this session: http://bit.ly/OurNeighborsOurJustice***
What does safety look like without over-policing? When it comes to defunding the police, the conversation often stops at the issue of domestic violence and other forms of violence. This session will pick up that conversation and discuss how to interrupt and address the roots of violence without relying on police officers, who have historically escalated violence in our communities.
Join us for the third of our five-part virtual #CareOverCops community conversation series designed and lead by Orleans Parish Prison Reform Coalition.

Municipal Action Committee meeting-

the MAC will meet to discuss future projects and activities based around local politics.

Intentional Recruitment: Building a Mass, Multiracial Movement with #DSA100K-

Right now, DSA is in the midst of a 100K recruitment drive, with the goal of building our membership to 100,000 members nationwide by 2021. But as we grow, we need to do so with intentionality and with a goal of building a truly multiracial, working class political organization. This is a call to explore what that can look like in our chapter! Join us if you're interested in being a part of this important conversation.
